Weird, right?
I’ve heard that phrase thrown around before – I’m married to Jesus – in discussions of purity and such. I always thought that was maybe a little much for me. But here I am, married to Jesus.
This is a picture from last night’s Living Last Supper.
The guy in the middle, my husband, Eric.
And it’s one thing for him to look so uncannily like the Savior of the world, but it’s another thing entirely when he lives and loves the way he does.
This Good Friday I’m so thankful to know Eric, and to know Jesus’ love through Eric. This Good Friday my prayer is that sacrifice and selflessness would rule in my heart as it did on the cross.
And I pray we would all try a little harder to be the Jesus someone can marry.
